I commend you for making your children your first priority and think it is a blessing that you are able to work part-time and be home with them after school! I was fortunate to be able to do that with our son and I think it's the best of both worlds to have a little something of your own in addition to being a mom. The wonderful thing about the crafting blog community is that it will be here for you for those times in your life when you have more free time to devote to it, especially when the girls are grown which will happen in the blink of an eye.

The key is to keep your friends who live in your computer aware of what's happening now and then. I have always found it very disturbing when my online friends just up and stop blogging one day. No word. Nothing. So I appreciate that you stop in and touch base with us.

I love your x-stitch card and candy hurricane lamp!! I used to x-stitch all the time and still have a bag of undone projects that I haven't looked at in years. I should go through it. If I don't already have your address and you want to send me a private email with it, I can see if there is anything you might like and send it to you. (darnell dot knauss at gee mail dot com)

Good luck with the job and your girls and balancing it all! Keep in touch!! I'm glad you are still able to be home with your girls in the afternoon and get to do all that mom stuff. They grow up so fast.

What a special card that owl one is with all the cross stitching.
