Last week I sat down to try my hand at the wreath. I quickly discovered I'm no good at eyeballing a circular shape with wood mounted stamps. I tried several times and chucked each effort. Then I got the bright idea to lightly draw a circle and use it as my guide. Success! Completely cased, but I like it!

I've also been working on a crochet project for our "new to us" dining table. We replaced a really light wood rectangular table with a darker, more dining room like oval table a couple of weeks ago. The napkin holder we have is a bit too small for the size of the new table, so I decided to crochet a table runner. I found a free pattern I liked and got to work. I just finished it today and thought I'd share. I didn't really block it, so it needs to be straightened a bit, but I like it. It is basically made of motifs that you add as you go and then has a triple crochet border.

Hi Jeanne! You always do such a wonderful job on your cards and it looks like you outdid yourself on the thankful wreath card. Of course you know I love your beautiful crocheted table runner. Thanks so much for sharing. Love and Hugs, Tamara
Oh Jeanne your card is stunning!!! WOW!! I am so inspired to try this! I have seen this done and wanted to try it but was a bit intimidated about getting it to go in a perfect circle! I'll try the sketch first! I just adore this! Those autumn leaves are SO pretty!! And your crocheted table runner is gorgeous! Wow! You have been able to get some crafty things done! The runner looks so lovely on your new table!! Beautiful work on everything my friend! :)
Hi Jeanne! The card is beautiful and looks like FALL! I'm so glad you found the stamps!
Your crochet table runner is stunning! Steve has several fine linen tablecloths and I recently found a crochet piece in an antique store to lay over a nasty stain in the middle of one of them! It was a great fix - lets just hope it doesn't get stained, too! ( my beloved is so messy!)
Hugs!!
Your wreath card is gorgeous. Your stamping is beautiful. And I love your table runner. I wonder how many homemade items like this I would in your house.
Beautiful card, Jeanne! I love the Autumn theme and the colors are gorgeous! Great idea to draw out a circle as a guide. And you did an awesome job on the table runner.
