Going to Try Digital Project Life...First Week

My friend, Laurel over at Seabrook Designs has been sharing her Project Life layouts and I've been very impressed. I've drifted away from digital scrapbooking over the past year or so, yet, every time Laurel posts a layout, I feel a niggling urge to scrapbook. Most of the time that feeling drifts away too, but for whatever reason, when she posted this layout, the urge to try this Project Life thing got stronger. After a little research and a very serendipitous email from Jessica Sprague about a self paced class for Digital Project Life, I decided to take the plunge and signed up for the class. Thanks, Laurel, for the nudge with your great layouts!

I finished up the class today and here is my first week layout. Be gentle, I'm pretty rusty.

This spread is pretty photo heavy, but I guess more happened during the week than I thought!

I decided to use Becky Higgins' Clementine kit as well as some elements from Kay Miller Designs' Happy Hearts kit.

I honestly am not sure if I can keep this up each week, but I will try. If not, I think just dipping my toes into this process may well encourage me to think about digital scrapbooking more than I have recently.

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh that's fabulous Jeanne! You did a great job on these! I did Project Life last year and actually completed it along with my Daily December album too. That is why I am TOTALLY burnt out on scrapbooking!! haha!! I can't even think about doing a page or taking a picture. I'm hoping that come spring when things green up, I might want to take a picture.... not sure though. Thanks for the advice about my glasses. I really like so much about them, but just not sure why my distance is not clear. I'll have to get back with the eye doctor next week and ask :) Hope you have a great week!! Hugs :)
