Snowman Family...

Happy Tuesday!

I'm thinking I am developing a "thing" for snowmen. Over the weekend I went to three local thrift stores and I picked up two adorable snowmen to help decorate my home this winter(no pictures yet, but just you wait...LOL).

Then there's this little family of snowmen (snowpeople?) I created from a freebie pattern I picked up at Michaels.
I've actually had the snowpeople crocheted since before Thanksgiving weekend started, but I had to go find my felt to create the scarves, which I just did today. LOL The girls have had fun with them scarf-less, though. They are supposed to have smiles and arms embroidered on them, but I find it difficult to stitch on crochet pieces and have it look good, so I decided they still look super cute without the stitching (please agree with me so I don't feel silly for not stitching them).

I'm busy creating away when I'm not shopping for the holidays. But some of what I'm working on is going to have to wait a bit before I can share.

Thanks for stopping by!
I sure appreciate the visit.

Cute!! I love them just the way they are. I have quite a collection of sewn snowmen/people I made years ago. Still love 'em even though they're starting to show their age - like me. LOL.

Speaking of snow. It snowed all day here. It's too warm though, making for slick sidewalks and roads. Yuck.

Your snow family is darling, Jeanne! Even without arms or stitching. Really! You do such a beautiful job with your crocheting (and other crafts too). It's always a joy for me to see what projects you have to share with us.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you're working on now and how you've decorated your house. I grabbed a box of our favorite decorations (the rest are still packed away in there somewhere) and will be begged to open it up today...worst case, at least the Advent calendar will be brought out (a day late). And I did get our wreath on the front door yesterday, which is more than I can say for our fall decorating this year. ;(

Anyway, thanks sooooo much for the sweet and thoughtful comments you always leave me. I feel like you're my lead cheerleader and I love you for it. ;)

Have a beautiful, snow-covered day, my sweet friend! big hugs

How cute are they? We had a little snow yesterday, but it all melted by about 1 pm. No time for snowmen!

Oh, and to answer your question, Super Saturday is pretty much just a craft day that is in October or November and we made holiday gifts and projects - thanks for asking!
