I started this dress a long time ago and only got about 4 rows into it before getting distracted by other projects. I took some time the past few evenings and finished it up.
Look who was snoozing right next to Barbie (and the cards I took pictures of today). I'd been moving her from bed to bed earlier today while I was changing sheets and didn't have the heart to disrupt her again, so I worked around her.
She doesn't look too thrilled about being woken up though, does she? LOL

What a darling new outfit!
Barbie is so well dressed now. Your talent is just oozing out of you Jeanne.
Very cute outfit, Jeanne! I'm sure your girls will love it, even if there's no ice skates to go with it. It's beach weather anyway, so maybe they can pretend she's a waitress on the pier restaurant. lol Your cat looks totally bored with the whole thing...but that's kinda typical for cats, isn't it? lol
Oh My Goodness! I love the crocheted dress and hat!!! These are just precious! When my DD was about 1 we had a high-school girl come after school to baby-sit for a couple of hours. Her Mom crocheted a barbie swimsuit for my DD and I still have that tiny, adorable suit in my jewelry box (where all the most important items are stored!). I don't think I ever allowed DD to put it on the doll - I was too afraid it would be ruined.
I also love your kitty!
Crochet and I aren't friends... I'm all thumbs. But apparently, YOU'RE the crochet mistress!!! ;) Awesome stuff - better not let my daughter see it, or she'll move in with you.
too cute! My older sister used to make dresses for my barbie when I was little, it was the coolest! Your kitty is adorable!
This is such a cute outfit! Love the hat! Great job!
