Hi again!
If you click to see this tree card on Cindy Lawrence's Creative Closet blog, I think you will understand my desire to make one for myself. Isn't it gorgeous? Because I'm not a "tree" person, I didn't have any stamps that had tree images, so I used the next best thing...a digital image! I found a nice looking tree on my Darcie CD called Fall Flurries and Winter Winks and printed it onto cardstock. I colored it fairly quickly using my Koh-I-Noor pencils and odorless mineral spirits. I used my circle and scallop circle Nestabilities and some pattern paper from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie 6x6 paper set along with a bit of CTMH's Topiary cardstock. I bit of Dollar Tree white ribbon and the card is done. I added the Summer Flower Soft in smallish sections until it looked finished.
Oh....do you want to see the card I've just blathered about? You do? Silly me! Here you go...
Kim...I thought of you the whole time I was making this card because I know how much you like trees...hope you enjoy this one. *Ü*
Thanks again for stopping by!

Gorgeous! And that's coming from a "tree person!" Love it, and love that multicolor Flower Soft, too. Guess it's time to shop s'more. LOL.
When I first saw your card, the word that came out of my mouth was...gorgeous. Then I came to comment and I see that Kathi has already used that. SO. I think your card is gorgeous times two! LOL! And again, that's coming from a 'tree person'. LOL! VERY pretty card, Jeanne.

You make the prettiest cards Jeanne...
ps...not sure if the spinning wheel soothed Aaron or not but he sure enjoyed playing with it and the very wet very messy clay...and the tools to form things. And the guy was so patient with him
This is gorgeous!!! I have to search and find some of that Flower Soft stuff! LOVE the tree :)
Very pretty (I noticed that "gorgeous" was already taken...several times -lol) tree with the Flower Soft blossoms, Jeanne! I can't wait to see what else you figure out to use it on. ;)
