Making Progress!

Well, I never did get any paper projects done, or digi projects for that matter. Amy has been so excited about this poncho that I've felt compelled to work on it most of the weekend. Thank goodness for Google and the internet, because when I haven't known how to do a stitch or instruction, I have just typed it in and have gotten several great tutorials on how to complete the step. Here's how far I've gotten.100_5233

The body or poncho portion is done and I'm now working on the hood. Considering I've never worked on circular needles I think this is pretty good progress. LOL I thought the body was too short, but Amy tried it on this morning and said it was fine.

Amy's Brownie troop had a field trip to a local youth theater production of Wild West Wagon this afternoon. I decided for this one she could go "on her own," meaning neither Steve nor I accompanied her. She had a good time, but said the guns were LOUD. After the performance, the girls got to take a tour backstage and also talk with the actors and ask any questions they had. Jessica and I got to participate in this part as the play ran longer than they thought and we were hanging around waiting to pick her up. I learned a few things and thought it was a rather neat experience for the girls.

Not much else to report though...so I'll say thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a great week full of success and fun.

Look at you! Like Erin, I'm anxious to see it finished. Oh, and I checked out Jessica Sprague's website last night. I didn't sign up for anything, but I'm one step closer!! Have a good week, friend!

Awesome. I used to knit all the time before kids. Last year I made socks, but now I just scrap, LOL. I can't wait to see the finished project!
