Tote-ally Done!

  Hi there!

I finished the final pieces for the tote I've been sharing. I loved doing the project, but I'm also glad to be done with it. LOL
Here are the final pieces and some pictures of it all together...

As you can see, I've kept the images small...but if you want to see them larger, just click on them. The post-it note holder is pretty straight forward, as is the pen, I just tied that ribbon onto the clip. The only thing I think I should note is that I used a Nestabilities Label One die for the top part of the bookmark and I folded it in half and adhered it. The silver piece is a concho (the thing with the prongs that you push thru the paper and then turn over and push down the prongs to make it stay). On top of that I glued a red rhinestone. The book mark should have been narrow enough to fit into one of the three pockets, but I really wanted to use the sentiment from CTMH's stamp set called Treasure Life (a recent Stamp of the Month and not currently available). So I made it the size I needed to fit that image. The two stamped flowers on the pen tag are from an Autumn Leaves set called Mindy's Flowers. I found it at the new concept Michaels store in Brighton. I say that because the other Michaels don't carry this set...just the new concept stores. I sure wish all the stores would switch over...maybe...someday. Anyway...here's the set at the first store that came up online, I'm sure it's sold other places as well.

So there it is. Another great tutorial from Becky Robert's of Inking Idaho. Oh and you should really click over to see today's post...it's got some great looking cupcake goodies! OMG...there's a store in Boulder!!! Hrmmmm....may have to take a trip over that way soon. LOL

Oh and if you don't usually visit Kathi's blog (and why wouldn't you...she does fabulous work) you MUST click over here and take a look at the fantastic bunny nuggets and picket fence basket she made. I have to say I am just tickled pink that so many of you like the project I shared. I'm always amazed if I inspire someone else because I'm such a copier!

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you are having a good Monday!

Jeanne, you are the utmost in inspiration! Just love your work, all of it. Yes even the knitted and crocheted ones Sigh, wish I could understand patterns for them. Maybe some day!

Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful creations. I needed to let you know you DO inspire.

Wonderful job, Jeanne!! Your tote items are all so cute (and I love the title of your post -lol)! Looks like this set took quite a bit of time (or at least I know it would take me quite a bit of time). tfs
