Cute Spooks

DSDchattemplatecute-spooks Happy International Digital Scrapbooking Day! Wow, that's a mouthful, isn't it? Well, today is the second annual NSD and I've done my part by buying up some things and have participated in a challenge or two over at Sweet Shoppe Designs. I even sort of participated in my first "speed scrap." I say sort of because I spent a good part of the hour long chat just trying to get into the chat! It appears that I needed Java and my computer didn't have Java installed. Once I figured that out and got it downloaded the chat was pretty much done. But we were given another hour to do the layout using a template provided by the challenge/chat hostess Meagan Mullens.

Then it was a challenge (no pun intended) to get the layout posted in time for the deadline. The site must be getting slammed because it is working very slowly. When I first tried uploading my layout the file was too large, so I had to resize it again a little smaller, but I got it uploaded finally. Whew...what a workout!

I used Kay Miller's Cute Spooks kit (www.kaymillerdesigns.com) and a staple from a kit called Carnival by Michelle Underwood...I received the kit as part of my subscription to ScrapWow. The font is Century Gothic.

I think the layout came out okay, but you may see these pictures again in a different layout. LOL

Thanks for stopping by!

Jeanne

Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day to you, too! Good for you actually getting some digital scrapping done...I've been spending my time going from store to store. Your layout is so cute, the colors are perfect for the photos.

Have a great weekend!

Well, darn. I missed a holiday. LOL. I'm sure glad that you had the opportunity to partake in the festivities, however. Seriously, what a cute, cute layout! Perfect colors!! The girls are SO cute, and I'm so jealous, too, that you have children who will actually pose for photographs. I have to chase them or catch them off guard. That must be one of the differences between boys and girls.
