Latest Crochet Project Completed!

Good Friday Morning! Are you ready for a long holiday weekend? I think I am, except the weather isn’t supposed to be very summer-like here. I guess we used up our quota of warm, sunny weather for the week. There’s a chance of rain each day this weekend. But, on the positive side, it shouldn’t snow!

While I haven’t been able to get to my crafty corner this week, I have managed to get “some” crocheting done. When I saw this pattern on Amy Gaines Etsy Shop, I just couldn’t resist. Wasn’t sure how the girls would react, but the other morning they were playing with the robot and alien (with the robotic voices), so I guess they like them. Yay!

Last night after dinner, Jessica promised she would try to ride her bike without training wheels. She’s been really hesitant to attempt this. And she still hasn’t really done it yet. She went in a circle, with Steve holding the bike,  then said she was done. So, I guess, technically she did try.

Amy wanted to show me how well she could now climb the tree in our front yard…

Which led to a couple of nice shots…

And one who goes up, must come down, somehow…

Have a great day! Maybe I’ll finally make it to my crafty corner today…

Your little space invaders are adorable! It is so cute the girls played with them and used robot voices...I love that about kids!

Speaking of kids...you captured some great photos! Jeanne, you should start a Project 365. Who says it has to be from January to January? Your project can be from June to June. You have shared some fabulous photos with us...not only of your children, but also of all the wonderful projects you create and the field trips you take. THAT is the stuff of Project 365. You've already got the photos...

p/s. I know...I'm being bad! LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend! And send some of that cool weather our way...I would LOVE some rain.

Hugs,
Barb ;D

How in the WORLD do you do that? Your crochet projects are seriously amazing. You should totally open up an etsy shop. I'm not kidding. That little alien set alone would probably go for $40. The butterfly - pack of 3 for $10. You should do it!

Have you done cupcakes? If so, link me up! (Speaking of cupcakes, you should see the freebie I've got for Stampin' Out Alzheimers participants! Eeek!)

Jeanne, these little aliens and ship are so cute! The little blue one with one eye is adorable. Reminds of of Monsters vs. Aliens for sure. You should sell on Etsy...I tellin' ya!

The pics of bike riding and climbing in the tree are great. Can't wait to see these on layouts.
