Two More Cards...very different!

Last post for today. But I just had to share these two, very different cards as well. Of course, I didn't come up with them myself!

The inspiration for this card came from this one I saw posted on i{heart}2stamp. You'll have to scroll down a bit to see it. But isn't it adorable?! I used the Doodlebug paper I have in my stash and a bit of Watermelon and Citrus Leaf cardstock from CTMH. I punched the little flowers and added some bling. I finagled the pinwheel by gluing the 2 1/2 inch square patterned paper to the cardstock then cut in from each corner. Make a wish sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Mixed Messages set. I had a lot of fun with this one!

I really like the cards that Beate Johns posts on her fresh & fun blog. I also like that she gives dimensions, making it that much easier to stamplift! LOL

I saw this card and wanted to play with the design and here is the result. I used some Making Memories paper I had, but I realized I didn't have a solid to go with it, so I made do with textured cardstock from DCWV's Christmas Stack. I used Ocean ink (CTMH) to stamp the frames (from Papertrey Ink's Borders and Corners set) and the butterfly (Patterned Bugs, Inkadinkado). The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby, Just because (PTI-Mixed Messages), small flower punch and stamped image from a stamp in Groovy (CTMH). I added some Crystal Stickles on the butterfly and a brad on the flower, I used pop dots to add dimension. Oh and I cut the square with my Cricut and Mini Monograms cartridge. The small oval was cut using my Coluzzle oval. I also used my concave punch from EK Success. You can get LOTS of inspiration from Beate's blog!

Okay, that's it. I may have forgotten something, but I hope you'll forgive me, I'm tired and ready to head to bed. My computer locked up in the middle of typing this and I had to reboot. Arghhhh. I hope you enjoyed your visits today! :o)

These are great cards, too. The pinwheel is fun, and the other card is just plain gorgeous. Your color choices for both are perfect, and I love the different (non-CTMH) papers.

Good Grief, Jeanne -- how do you find the time to be so creative?! Your talent and the number of projects you pump out continue to amaze me! Both these cards are wonderful, but the bright pinwheel really caught my eye today, maybe cuz it's snowing here...on April 10! lol
