Flower Sprigs Card

Okay....so I didn't know what to title this card. I guess I could have called it a Happy Birthday card...but that's kinda boring. Anyway, of course, I didn't come up with this idea on my own. It's pretty much a c.a.s.e. (copy and steal everything)of this card. I did a little improvising to make it "mine," I guess you could say. Nothing too out of the ordinary here. I used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder (yes, I LOVE this folder) for the white piece. I also clear heat embossed the flowers I stamped on the top and bottom piece. The flower sprig is from CTMH's Sweet Occasions stamp set (which may be retired) and colored in with markers, the tiny flowers on either side of the Happy Birthday are from Papertrey Ink's Borders & Corners (square) set. Happy Birthday is in the Women of Life set at Papertrey Ink. I punched the scalloped oval and then used my oval Coluzzle for the smaller white oval. And because I thought it needed a little 'something,' I added a pearl to some of the flowers. The card is 3 1/2 by 8.

One more coming up...but it's not a card....

That Swiss Dots folder has got to be everybody's favorite! It's the best. So is your card. Again, I love the colors. Great sketch, too. Compared to you, I made "lazy" cards today.

I love your card, Jeanne! I made two Easter cards using this sketch last night but have yet to post them to my blog. I really like what you did to make it yours.
