Treat a Lope

I thought this project was just adorable and had to try it for myself. Lisa Johnson does a great job showing how to create one, so I'll let you look at her directions. I used a 5 x 7 envelope, but I'm sure you can use any size you would like.

I stamped Papertrey Ink's Polka Dot Basics in Breeze ink. Then I stamped a small white scrap with the smaller dots and punched it out with a 3/4 inch circle punch. I sponged the edge and put a Making Memories Page Pebble on top of it. This got attached to the flower from PTI's Women of Life flower. I also stamped the image on the white circle, but when I pop dotted the flower, I purposely offset the petals a little bit. I felt like the bottom needed a little something, so I ran the edge in the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots embossing folder. The ribbon is some I picked up at Michaels. I can't remember the brand though...sorry! (the roll is outside in my craft room and I forgot to notate it).

I thought this might be cute for a little Easter treat basket...maybe for teachers.

Okay... that's it for today. Don't forget to set your clocks ahead one hour before you head to bed. Maybe...just maybe...my girls won't wake up as early as they have been all week (Amy's been awake and raring to go at around 5:30-6am this week argghhhh). Nice that I don't have to wake them up, but it's awfully early!

Til next time...thanks for visiting!

Your version of this project is great, too. You had a regular stampathon going on today. Fun, isn't it? You've also convinced me I "need" that polkadot set from Papertrey once life settles down and I start shopping again . . .

Cute! It makes my want to stray from digiscrapping! How fun to have such skills while your children are small. . .

Hee hee! I just saw your comment on my blog. No, you are not looking at the wrong place. It is still not available. Kathy says the Muddy Puddles kit will be released sometime this week!
