Whew! Made it under the wire. Well, I had 45 minutes to spare to get the layout uploaded in time for the random daily drawing in the L.O.A.D. Challenge...Whoo hoo to me! Success for the first day.
Yes, I used a template...Morginals freebie...found it via IkeaGoddess' blog search entry. Went to Meredith's blog and downloaded a bunch of templates. Love them!
Papers are a freebie kit from http://www.raspberryroaddesigns.blogspot.com/
Family Time word art is from M Shefveland's kit called Holiday Sparkle. I got the kit from my Scrapper's Guide Premier Newsletter subscription.

Today I did some shopping for my hubby's birthday which is tomorrow. I try to make sure he gets something nice and not some sort of afterthought gift, since it falls so close to Christmas. He's been off work since Christmas Eve and he is going back tomorrow. I was teasing him about not staying home on his birthday, but he's got some sort of project he needs to be working on. (Personally, I think he's tired of being home surrounded by all us girls).
Thanks for visiting! I hope you find time to create today!

You've got me more than a little curious about digital scrapbooking. Your layout is so cool. The gingerbread house looks like fun, too. I haven't done one in years. Maybe next/this year! TFS.

You are on your way to a scrapbook page a day...Great job!
This LO is gorgeous! I am going to stop by the sites you mentioned!
Love it! I still haven't tried digital scrapbooking, but I love your results! I joined L.O.A.D. too. I got yesterday's page done, but I really need to get other stuff done today and dh went back to work, so it could be iffy.
Me again,
Seriously thank your for those links. They are both fabulous sites. Your LO today looks like a mosaic! I am going to scraplift that template! Love it!
Thanks for the kind comments! Kathi, let me know if I can answer any questions you may have. I'm a convert as you can tell. I'm still learning, but it is lots of fun.
Susan, you are SO welcome for the links! I'm glad you were inspired.
great job on all the layouts! When you downloaded free templates...are they such that you just put paper behind them & voila? just wondering...I went there & didn't see a download part...only the image showed up when I clicked on it.
