Happy Halloween!

100_5105

Isn't this a cute pizza? I surprised the girls for dinner last night by picking one of these up. They don't have school today and the school put on a Trunk or Treat/Fall Ball event last night.  I volunteered to help pass out cookies for 25 minutes. Well, I ended up volunteering until the line of people was gone-which was well over an hour). That means I didn't get to see the decorated trunks at all (except from my vantage point at the cookie table).

Steve took the girls and my camera and took lots of pictures...here are just a few:

I think I'll give him points for trying... (he said he put the camera on the night setting...you know the one where you need to have a very steady hand or a tripod)

He did get a couple that were better

100_5114 100_5112  The fingers on the table apparently grabbed the hands of people trying to get candy. Amy was safe, but Jessica got grabbed, I'm told.

At the dance Amy rocked out! A couple of the teachers were the deejays on the stage and they got everyone in the spirit!

100_5124 100_5127 I took this one of Steve and Jessica.

I think the school can safely say the event was a rousing success. There were a TON of people there all having a great time. I'm sure it helped that the weather was perfect...70s during the day and just a hint of crispness to the air by the time the event started at 6pm.

Thanks for visiting! I hope you all have a fun-filled and safe Halloween!

Parties like that at schools are wonderful. It looks like the girls had a great time, and I do believe that the photo of Steve is the first "smiley" one I've seen. The fact that he's smiling with such adoring eyes at Jessica makes it a heartwarmer!

Jeanne,

Looks like you guys had tons of fun! Gotta love Papa Murphy's pumpkin pizzas! All my neighbors here did that, too.

I LOVE that pic of Steve and Jessica! I think if you do some adjusting on the lighting and put it in a digi page as a single pic layout it would be AWESOME! You could even frame it for Steve for Christmas!!

That pizza looks so delish, and perfect for the occasion! Even though some of the pics are a bit blurry, you have some really good ones there. ;) Glad everyone had such a good time that night -- although I think that hand would've freaked me out had I been Jessica (good thing she's a good sport, eh?). And, yes, the weather has been perfect lately -- love it!
